The Shadows series follows the adventure of a young college student, Arya Norma, who happens to discover that werewolves and other paranormal creatures exist. This is far from what she wants in life and she quickly tries to push the hot, sweat, bulky muscular man, Laxus Dreyar (who claims to be her mate and the Alpha Heir of the Fairy Tail Pack) away so she can pursue a normal life without drama. There's also the fact that she wishes to avoid being dragged into the rank of Luna. Having the equivalent title of "queen" is far from what she needs out of life.

The only problem is she encounters a deranged Alpha of a rogue pack that desires to destroy the Fairy Tail Pack, which is the exact reason she desires to stay away from all things paranormal.

However, that doesn't go as wished. Arya is sucked into the world of werewolves, vampires, seelie, uncharted, magic users, and hunters against her will. Along the way, Arya will learn more about herself and why she is so connected to the paranormal world.
